Lauren Wolter: Teacher-Librarian, Library Information Specialist

Ms. Wolter doing what she loves: relaxing with a good book!

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where my family (my mom, dad, brother, and sister) still lives. I graduated from Judson High School, which was, at that time, the largest high school in Texas. Then, I attended Baylor University in Waco, TX, on full scholarship, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and English Literature, while also participating in Baylor’s Interdisciplinary Program and Honors Program. I lived in Fort Worth for five years while my husband attended medical school. While in Fort Worth, I earned my Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas. In June 2010, I moved to Seattle, Washington, for my husband’s medical residency.

I love to hike, cook, read, listen to music and audiobooks, and spend time with my husband, my friends, and my sweet dog Abby (a Shih tzu).

Check out this glog to see pictures of some of my favorite things!
